Diamonte Harper, or better known as her stage name, Saweetie, is a successful and famous female rapper. She graduated from USC’s Annenberg School of Communications in 2016 with a Bachelors in Communications.. She reached fame after continuously posting freestyle videos in her car during her time at USC and became a hit with her single “Icy Girl”. The song title is also what she described as her signature brand; she has stated that being an Icy Girl, which to her is a mentality of believing in yourself and striving to achieve your goals. She has topped the charts with her hits “My Type” and “Tap In”.
She has stated that her ultimate goal is to obtain a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University, allowing her to expand both her education and music career. Saweetie is currently signed to Warner Records and Artistry WorldWide.
